Dinette Drawers on our 190

the drawer boxes were sized to not block the pass thru opening....i think 16"wide x 22" deep x 10" high.  the first pictures are of both sides, the left, and the right.  the boxes were mounted on 1 x 2 to not interfere with the main framing.  Also the 2 slat boxes in the pictures are just my storage boxes.

This is going to allow much much easier access to this storage area without having to take the cushions and plywood off to retrieve something under the bench when you are inside.  the next pictures are with the original plywood with the drawer cutouts.

the next picture is with the drawers pulled out and then with the benches put back together with the table mounted.

I used 1/2 " plywood for the framing and 1/2 " birch plywood for the drawers. Used different pulls on the drawer fronts to minimize a leg getting nicked.  Used the minwax dark walnut and gray combination from a different thread.

overall, great project that will get used all the time.  now it is time to deepen the other drawers.
