2015 Tacoma 4x4 with V6 and tow package (granny cloler, oil cooler, etc). Never had a problem towing 2016 R-pod 179. Through Utah and Nevada deserts and mountains. Temp gauge always in middle. 12 mph towing, 20 on hiway without trailer.

Granny coolers....so many colors, patterns, and sizes to choose from...how do you decide?
And...I'm sorry that your little Tacoma can only tow the trailer at 12 mph....but on the other hand, while granny stays cool, you get to enjoy the scenery!

2017 SR5 V6 with Tow Package. It's a great match up. Been coast to coast twice now and north into the Canadian Rockies. Not the first of the hill, yet over without issues.
Keep your rpm's down, stay off cruise control, use your gearing and slow down on the highway and you'll see some 'great' gas mileage. Better yet, take the Byways and enjoy gas mileage and better scenery! LOL

2014 Tacoma V6, 4 wheel drive, towing package, Six speed manual transmission. It pulls like a freight train. The young fellow that got in it to hook up our new Rpod 180 at the dealer couldn't drive a clutch.

2013 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 with tow package and a v6. Going uphill keep the rpms down, lower gear if necessary...no temperature problems. We get 14 mpg doing 60-65...traveling all over the west every year.
