That ant has 12V that energizes the amp when the amp button is pushed, if the red light comes on, and you have 12V to the amp wire, the amp may not be working. That will be your problem. You will get no reception without amp. The amp is in the ant. Best to just replace, they are not that pricey.

This is the antenna I purchased after I broke the 2nd batwing antenna: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B010SP0IY4/. I bought it because the base was the same as what was already there so I did not need to remove the base which was still in good shape. Unfortunately, it is not available on Amazon, but may be from other sources. This one looks similar, but the base may need to be changed: https://smile.amazon.com/Magnadyne-RVTV-W2-SEPARATE-F-CONNECTOR-CONNECTIONS/dp/B00USE3JF6/. Both of these come with a new wall plate. You may find that you might need additional wiring if the existing wiring won't quite reach the connections on your stereo unit.

I have not seen anywhere that the OP has said that they are turning on the antennea booster switch. You MUST have the booster switch on, before seaching for channels. It's a tiny little button on the wall behind the t.v. . You push it in, a red light, lights up. Have you turned on the booster ???? Do you know where it is??

True, however numerous posts have mentioned that and at top of this page I told them how to troubleshoot, so at this point I'm assuming they know that.
