Rain won't be a problem, but like any RV awning you should take it down in high wind.

Wind gust of 35 - 40 mph and an R-Dome don't mix particularly well. Below that it seems to handle it pretty well. R-dome stayed up but had a slight bend in one of the roof support poles.

Thank You so much for the video! It was very helpful!! The silicon spray made all the difference in the world. Hopefully it will get easier as we get better at setting the dome up!
