Traded in the Mitsubishi Endeavor. While it towed well, this will give
us more power and more towing capacity. So long "Gray Ghost", hello
"The Beast". Added a P2 brake controller and we are now ready to go to
Kerrville next week!!

Very nice, full sized cab too. It might be an illusion but it looks like the 'pod is slightly nose-up, if you can get it level or slightly nose-down that would be better.

Yes is slightly nose down. I am hoping loading the truck would lower it some. Ball mount has a 2 in. drop, may need another with more drop. Thanks. |

It came with the 5.0L engine; supposed to be 360HP @ 5500 rpm. |

Congratulations! I like it.
Although moving up to my full size truck, from my smaller GMC Canyon, hurt like @#$%% paying for it, the towing experience is much more relaxing now. I hope you enjoy your's as much as I do mine.

Thanks David, that's what we are counting on. Plus, I am hoping to get at least the same mpg towing as the Mitsubishi, 10-12 mpg.

That has been my personal experience, regarding the mpgs. It seems to be true regardless of the TV. The big difference in my case: 185HP, 4cyl, with 3.73 gears was turning 3200-3300RPMs and still not able to keep up - constanly wanting to downshift to 2nd gear and jump to over 4000RPMs. I could not use the TV's A/C, carried no fluids in the Pod, removed the tailgate from the truck and did not carry the spare tire to the Pod, to reduce weight. Now, all different. I can "loaf" along at 1700-1800RPMs (@65mph) and forget all of the above. There's still plenty of power to pass at will. Headwinds and hills are no longer "Maalox moments". I think you'll like it.
