Prolly.

I know there are bigger, better cars.  I got this one used from family and it will pay back quickly.  In a few years I will retire then it can go away.  The cheapest used hybrid of any kind was over four times what I paid for this one.  The safety record for these is good, and while not what any one needs for an only car it will be fine for a commuter.  Thanks for all the suggestions.

We saw a show on TV about how they crash test cars in the E.U. and one of the cars shown was a Smart..

I have to say, the test they showed.. I thought it did very well. I wouldn't own one.. but they do appear to be way safer than a guy who's daily driver is an Expedition, and when I really need to haul something, an Excursion, would have thought.

We have a VW GTI (our 4th) for fun and goofing.. it gets pretty darn good mileage for the smileage..

Way better than the old Mustang.. but it's ALL smiles..
