We left Texas on our way to Louisville,Ky a few days ago. We will go to the Kentucky Derby and see our oldest grandson graduate from high school we will then meander up to Marquette, Mi to visit a Daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. We will return to Texas doing parts of old Rt 66 from the Chicago area and then  visit Daughter, son- in-law and our grandchildren in Wichita, Ks. Except for some planned events we have left the schedule at home. We are visiting museums, State and National Parks along the way. By the end of the trip we will have put about 4,000 plus miles on our little "Peanut" R-Pod.

Sweet.  Looking forward to your full trip report, we'll be following into some of those same areas this summer.

Thanks, I'll update as our trip progresses. We seem to get some lookers at RV parks...saw a 151 yesterday in Clinton Ok but haven't seen any Pods on the highway.

Diamond Caverns is where we will be.. hint hint. WinkWink

As  far as the OP's trip plans.. the Corvette museum and factory tour are pretty good in Bowling Green KY, and if you like Bourbon, this is where it's from, the Bourbon Trail has a few stops right along your path of travel, the Bourbon Heritage Center is pretty awesome in Bardstown.. The Jim Beam tour is well spoken of, though I haven't done it recently (they had a big revamping up there a couple months ago).. and it's about 4 minutes off I-65..

Hitting the Bourbon Trail this summer.  Looks like a fun and educational adventure!  A lot of history in the area, too.  Yes, history teachers 'educate' their kids every summer (although the kids might say 'torture')...

Now in Marquette Mi. Trip has gone well and no problems with the Pod. We are at Marquette Tourest Campground and enjoying the nice weather. Lots of things to see here and fun to be with our daughter and family.

Glad to hear things are going well.  What parks have you seen so far?  Make sure to check your lug nut torque and tire pressure (TV and pod).

Returned  home in Texas. Put on 4400 mi on the trip. Had fun, enjoyed family, and had no problems with Peanut or tow vehicle. Averaged 11.73 mpg for entire trip. Head winds were the biggest factor. Our Nissan has a 4L V6. We do not travel with a full fresh water tank, maby 10 gal. Gray and Black try to keep empty. Other than that we keep our selves comfortable. We loved the State Parks along Lakes Michigan and Superior.
