Here's a photo of a cover I made. It's alternating strips of cherry and walnut with a cherry skirt. There are plastic feet at each corner.

I have made a cutting board that serves as a serving tray when turned around.
 
But I also want to be able to put it out of the way when not in use.
 
If you want something done right, do it yourself.

Nice counter top extensions as well Marwayne (in addition to everything else). 

There is a cabinet builder across the street from my work that leaves scraps out for people to take. I'm hoping to use some scraps to build some extensions in the near future.

For the support arms, do you have one on each side or do you find just one support arm is enough?
