We have the rp177 , is there any way to manually put slide in if for some reason you were to lose power.

If you remove the panel on the inside of the pod at the bottom of the slide I am told there is a nut you can put the wrench for the stabilizer jacks on to run the slide in or out without poer. I have never tried it.

Yes. Just as Keith-n-Dar said. Right hand bottom panel. The nut is the same size as your stabilizer jack handle...
Never done it on a/the Pod.. but HAVE cranked a slide in once. A skill I don't intend to perfect. the smart thing to do if you lose power is hook up your tow vehicle.. |

I would suggest an 18 volt drill or impact wrench with a 3/4 inch socket on it to run the slide in if it stops working for any reason. I use one to run my stabilizer jacks up and down. Yes I am lazy and getting old.

One note: Hooking up to the TV will only help if you have the charging system from the TV activated and/or available

jumper cables man, jumper cables. No truck should be without a set. You can move way more power through them in a short time than through the "charging cable" of the TV. |

Oh, jumper cables. Sure, that would work too!!! Your right, that would be much more efficient. Thanks for setting me straight!!!! I will be honest, I do not have a pair in my truck. Thet will be in there tonight however.

jumper cables, a pair of pliers, quality 12 volt air pump, and a tire plug repair kit.
