We have a new 178. We did not get any sort of manual for the microwave/convection oven. I found a .pdf for the model 22200, but apparently the new 178 has a different model Sunbeam. Does anyone have a link to where I can download the manual?
Thanks!

If you have a silicone mat I would leave it, they are able to take high temperatures. Since Pyrex can be placed right in the oven at home I would do the same for the convection oven.

I found ours. It was so small that it was hidden in some other papers. Bottom line is that the unit is 1000 watts and we will go find a mic/convection cookbook that works with this power level.

We've found that anytime you do anything in the oven you should always use the little metal plate, it helps everything cook better.
Except popcorn, that does fine just on the glass plate.
