Has anyone moved the hot water switch inside a 179? If so what location did you use, how did you route the wires?

Not having a 179 I can't address the location, but the Pod already has a separate circuit breaker for the WH in the power panel. Most people just leave the switch on the WH on and use the breaker as an on/off switch. If you do  add a separate switch, consider a lighted switch. Then you can see a a glance if it's on. The best place would be near the power panel so you can intercept the 120V AC line.

We just use the breaker for the water heater switch, it is just easier like Charlie said. Heat the water during breakfast and turn it off when you are done eating and you have hot water all day. Goose

Ditto.  I was going to add an extra switch inside until someone posted about just using the breaker.
