That's a really cool setup! I especially like how the rear raises up to form a roof over the tented area.
And on another thought mentioned in this thread:
Like Podster, I also recently drove a ways to pick up my 171 f(from Couch's in my case) - around 1200+ miles - and it towed steady as a rock. In fact, I thought it pulled easier than my pipe-rack 12' utility trailer. And no bouncing at all. In contrast, I could see my tire side walls flexing a bit, but the tires stayed on the pavement. Glad you're enjoying the 'T' .. |

Bearclaw,
Mind you I am new to RV's in general but here are some things I found out during our research before we bought. There are two Forest river factories in the USA. one in Indiana and one in oregon, of course they don't distribute the 176-T from the OR one. which is dumb imho. There was a 2014 new 176T at the RV spa in Upland CA which we were gonna buy but couch's (believe it or not) came in almost $1000 less and that was WITH delivery and all the goodies. (we live in Las Vegas) so, I would check it out see if you can get them down in price. Of course you should probably check Couch's it's the end of the year and i'm sure they are tryin to get rid of new 2014's I did find a dealer in Sacramento that stated on their website they would stock 5 176-T until they sold out, and then re-stock another 5. I can't remember the name but It would not be hard to find. good luck |

That is the BEST looking T model Rpod I have ever seen. Color changes on the tent really match up great with the rest of the Pod so much better than they ever have before. Great looking Pod!!!

Interesting, the look of the tenting reminds me of the old small campers from the 50's.

Great look isn't it? I hadn't known the tent would look that good. I can see pictures of that unit right there being an huge encouragement to possible new T owners. |
