There's an rpod rally in WV in June with over 30 pods so far in attendance. Stop by and visit us.

Sorry about the last link. I'll try to make sure this one works properly.

Third video in our series: Day 1 - The Journey Begins

In this video we finally embark on our journey, leaving Kansas City, MO for our first long drive to Frankfort, KY.

SPOILER:
Being a total newb, I try to level the camper with the stabilizers and almost ruin the darn things... Lol

yeah, that is a Bad Thing.  You can also bend the frame.  Use planks under the wheels for side-to-side leveling and the tongue jack front-to-back.

Do you usually just back the trailer onto the planks, or do you jack the trailer up and place them under the wheels?

Back or pull forward before you unhitch.  You can even buy levels that are marked to tell you how many inches you need to add and which side.

Thanks for the information. I did back the trailer on boards last time we parked so I'll continue doing that.

TRIP VIDEO UPDATE:
On the road, we are trying to do our laundry as efficiently, and cheaply, as possible. If you're up for a little chuckle, my alter ego, Wes-The-Mess, shows you how we get it done: https://youtu.be/HRG1wBbZt3g

Hope you enjoy.
