this will be our first trip in our new 179, we will drive for three days (camping) then store R-POD(in mini storage lot) for 3 days then camp for for week or so.
My question is, when running the refrigerator on Propane while in storage will I need to leave 12 volt on? If so will the battery stay charged for 3 or 4 days? thanks for the help |

Hello from San Antonio and congratulations on the new 179! Yes, the fridge controls require 12v power and yes, if you have a good battery fully charged and nothing else running, you should have no problem making it for 3 to 4 days with the fridge running on propane.

But at that point you will need a good charge. The charge line on your TV is not big enough to handle the fridge on DC mode and recharging the pod battery at the same time, so leave it on propane mode when you pick it up. I recommend using propane mode all the time and forgetting about DC mode.
