new table in 178 - Event Date: 14 Nov 2015

 Does anyone know if it is safe to screw a bottom pipe falange for a table in the dining area of an r-pod 178.  I didn't see any tanks in that area but don't know how thick the floor is.

I made a freestanding table that can be moved or rotated as needed. We sometimes use it in the tent room also.

I replaced the table in my 179 with a similar table.  I screwed the base into a piece of 3/4 plywood the same size as the top.  That way we can scoot the table around or even take it apart for travel by laying it on the bed.  I made the top rectangular so we can use different seating positions, or slide it out of the way.  Much handier than a fixed table.  One just has to learn not to lean on the table when getting up.
