Every time I take my R-Pod out, the refrigerator starts beeping every couple of minutes. The light is almost out when the door is closed.
I was told by the dealer there is a problem with the refrigerator when there is too much moisture. So far the only fix it is to unplug the cable connector behind the latch. The dealer talked to Dometic but they refuse to admit there is a problem.

Anyone having this problem?
Is there a better fix since I loose the light when the cable is unplugged.
Thank you

Had the same problem with my 2015 178 RPOD Refrigerator.
Talked to a couple of tech guys.
It is a condensation issue around the contacts behind the latch mechanism.
Buy a tube of dielectric grease.
Any auto parts store should carry.
Take the cover off the latch.
Make sure to remove any moisture from the contact area.
Use a hair dryer on low is you wish.
Generously coat the contacts behind the latch mechanism with this dielectric grease and it should fix the problem.

I took the cover off. I don't see the switch contacts. Just 2 screws. Do I have to remove the screws to put the grease on the contacts?
On youtube I saw a video that removes the cover. Is there a one showing the application of the grease?
Thank you

Just unplug the 4 wire lead from the back of the light. Dry that area with canned air, put dielectric grease on the plug, replace, snap cover back on.It's the "contacts" inside that connection, not the switch itself.
