*** If this is not the correct place for my question, please relocate as needed. ***

We have a 2016 179 and would like to install a cover over the Fantastic Fan. I got the ladder and checked to see how the FF is installed. It is flush mounted on the roof. There are no ledges, etc. to attach a cover to. I do not wish to drill holes in the roof. Can anyone provide me with some guidance or maybe a link to an installation?

My thanks in advance, David.

If you order the cover from FF, it is an easy installation, using the existing holes.

You will need to replace a little bit of lap sealant.

Link to install.

Just made an order (for pricing) for the ff cover. The video was great, I have a 177 plan do to this before we go for our first camping. Also getting a price on a 24" 2 step. The "boss" was involved in a car write off accident (not her fault the other car went through a red light.) Anyway the 2 step will make it easier for her to get into the pod. Has anyone made a video of installing a 2 step on an rpod?

I installed the 24" Flexco double steps on our 179. Not difficult, but I did have to elongate the 2 rear holes (they are square)on the new steps. There are other brands that may be a direct fit.

We really enjoy our new steps. Our 'old' knees really appreciate them.
