I just went to an RV show in Raleigh, NC. I saw two versions of the Visor there. One had just the tiedowns and a a second had both tiedowns and support poles. It looked like a great option. Certainly it is going to be easier to deal with than an R-Dome. However, it lacks the ability to be a complete enclosure which adds room to the R-Pod. It is a trade-off that one has to make.

That being said, it looked like the Visor would be very easy to set up and take down. I have been looking at getting one of them myself, but am waiting until I get some other projects done and paid for.

We had the Pahaque for ours (our son now owns our Pod). We liked it as an option, but we also had the R-Dome, which we felt was a must. Our son uses both, depending on the circumstance. They are both expensive but worth it. Neither was good in strong wind, but in moderate breezes, they both were fine (you know when it's time to take down). Our R-Dome spent two hours in a heavy hail storm in the mountains, and the only thing we had to do is keep knocking the hail off the roof from the inside (it would have eventually collapsed!) The Pahaque is very high quality and easy to install. Just be sure they send you the right length for your particular R-Pod. We had problems on that issue.
