Hey Podders,
I've loved my 178 for 2 years and well over 100 nights and 30K miles now, but I've hit my first real snag with the equipment.  I went to switch over from propane to 120V on the fridge last trip and nothing happened.  I don't even get a warning light or a beep noise when I push the button, no response what-so ever.  I've checked to make sure I have power to the outlet behind the fridge and it works on 12V and propane.  I found some sites that talked about a fuse on the back of the fridge, but I couldn't find one on this fridge even after pulling all the covers I could see.  I checked the connections on the front "control panel", basically everything looks good, I just cant get the 120V to work.  I have also seen something about "Resetting" the fridge, but it gets stored with the battery disconnected, so it just spent the last month without power, and dont know what further reset I could do (I did try holding down the power, 120v and alert buttons separately for extended periods each to no avail).

Any thoughts?  I did get the waste of a dealer purchased extended warranty package, so I might have to put it to use on this one...

Thanks in advance for your help!
Bobby

Yep, sounds like you may have a damaged power control board. Do you use a surge protector?

Thanks Podster, that's what I'm thinking...I guess I'll be calling a dealer in the short future.

I do not use a surge protector, it may be worth looking into, who knows what else I could blow!
