Been a little while since I've been in the Pod neighborhood. Big projects just kept getting in the way this past winter. Anyway, that's all behind us and now it's time for some more pod mods! And some camping/fishing/beer.

I never liked the TV mount that came with the pod. Just seemed kinda cheesy, not well thought out and not versatile at all. I paid a lot of money for that TV and I wanted to be able to use it in my Pod on any wall, in my wood shop, my garage, or anywhere else I needed to watch football, baseball or a cooking show while working on my next invention! Yes dear. Soon, I found an inexpensive articulating mount that got great reviews on Amazon. =>http://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Articulating-Monitor-Extension-ML12BCE5/dp/B003O1UYHG

I know you can buy more expensive mounts with multiple "docking ports", but they're ugly and expensive. For less than $15.00 I came up with the WunderMountâ„¢ v.1.0. Star I used some scraps left from a recent maple floor install and a few dollars worth of t-nuts, PowerHead screws and a couple of 1/4x20x3/4 stainless bolts. I milled the maple with a t-slot router bit and dado set. Now I can quickly move or remove the TV or anything else I might want to wall mount. Once the jigs are made, knocking out lots of blanks and slides is easy. (this is basically a sliding dovetail design) Maybe it will give you some ideas! The PowerHead screws are amazing. Just started using them.

Anyway, good to be home. Hope everyone had a good winter and can't wait to get back out there! Here's a teaser pic. More detailed pics can be found at:  https://goo.gl/photos/5Vrtc1XTMvfhajri6

Thanks for the tip on the tilt mount. Took our first trip in the 171 this weekend, it was impossible to see the screen correctly when lounging on the dinette bed. Going to order it now...

Just booked a couple of nights at Assateague National Seashore week after next Leo! Gotto do it! Time to get the Pod in order.

Dewinterized and flushed tanks today. Not much left to do but get together new tackle and start following fishing reports.

Finally!
