Hi,
What do you use to raise and lower rpod jacks? Torque? Cordless? Brand? We've purchased and returned several (using on our teardrop for now) - just not enough power. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Pretty much any 18-20 volt variable speed drill. Not an impact driver. I use a DeWalt DCD 790. It will twist your arm if you're not ready.

You only need enough power to raise and lower the jacks. You shouldn't be applying enough pressure to raise the trailer to any extent. I've used Black and Decker, Craftsman and Dewalt drills without any issues.

I use a craftsman 12 volt. I only set the jacks not try to raise the trailer. It works fine and lasts for many times.

/QUOTE] How do you do that mod?? How did you remove the handle? Is it permanently off, because my drill isn't strong enough to crank up the weight of the pod to level (or check to be sure the ball is secure) but I love the idea of being able to get 95% of the cranking done. BTW, I am using the exact same drill.
