Is anyone else having clearance issues? My r-pod is in driveway and the design makes it impossible to put a board under the jack due to clearance and the fact that the boot lowers at an angle versus vertical. oddly, I could fit a board before a trip and now can't, my driveway isn't perfect but wonder if the bolt has shifted affecting height. In general though I am often kicking out dirt in parks....any insight appreciated Newbie in NH

Since it is a foot, don't use a board? That is the premise of the flip foot. You should not need a board under it. Your hitch height must be quite low for it to not work. My driveway is sloped, and I tow with a Ford Escape. I purchased the Husky Brute foot, but had to shorten it to make it work.
What was the load on your R-Pod and Tow Vehicle when it worked? What was the height of the hitch? Is there more weight now causing the height to be lower? That could explain why it worked before but won't work now. |

to keep mine from dragging I removed the jack took the foot off and cut 2" off of the jack re installed the foot by drilling new holes in the shaft now I carry a 2x6x 6 inch board when I need extra lift when we camp.
