I want to upgrade the axle to one with a greater load capacity. I heard about a 4400lb. Unit. Does anyone have info. on it? My wheel has 5 hubs nuts. Will my wheel fit on this new axle?

I would try a different dealer perhaps if possible Camping World. I have hit some large potholes with our trailer heavy loaded with our new axle and it has not bent. Maybe if a serious technician confirms your axle is bent and not a result of how you drove it and reports it as a warranty claim it may get fixed. Sometimes it good to be persistent.

Hard to say which companies are "good", but doing a quick search online I see many options out there.  But there are only a few major manufacturers (like Dexter), similar to the major appliances inside (like Dometic and Suburban).

I did find some manufacturers through Google. I'm not quite sure what I want to do. I have an email in to Forest River. I'll just wait and see. Too late now to enjoy the trailer this summer.
