Depends on what you tow with I tow With a full size truck with airbags and did not notice any difference. Iv'e seen guys with generators and even a storage shed with gen,spare tire,and shelving on the front.
 I highly recommend the Bal unit, $80 and installed in an hour

I went with a spare tire carrier that a guy sells on ebay. it's ~ $20 but does require that you remove burrs and paint it yourself. That guy also sells various RV & towing related products so not hard to find there. Mounts on tongue with common hardware bolts. TSC is cheapest for those.
I bought a bike rack for rear as plan is a Vespa in the truck bed-not bicycles.
