Any suggestions? I am towing a 179, just wonder what brand and weight rating hitch , tongue weight especially. Been looking at Fastway and Reese, just a little unsure on the ratings. Tongue wt is 350 on the 179 but I am sure that the wt goes up with loading. Help Smile

A lot of people are using Fastway E2 600/6000 WDHs, either trunnion or round bar style. We have the round bar version and love it.

The 600 pound bars are fine. While it may go up when loaded, it won't go up as much as you think. Dual 6vs, dual propane, and power tongue jack, our 177 was at 370 or so scaled, not guessed.

If I had to do it over again, I would get an Andersen all over again. It works.

I sold mine with the R-Pod, and will have to shell out $500 for a new one that fits the frame and ball size of my soon-to-be-ordered trailer. My old Andersen wouldn't fit the new trailer unless I bought a few new parts, and it came down to installation time and having leftover parts that might be hard to sell.
