Bugout,

Only reason I can think of you would need stick, is if you didn't want to open door on the TV. The weight will be 'axle to axle" versus a tire weight. I don't think that is too important on a single axle TT. Maybe so on a large 5th wheeler. Unfortunately RV tire weight stations are limited. You'll need a personal "made up" truck number so they can reference your ticket in the end. Remember anything you don't have at the weigh in, adds to your weight when you make next trip, water in tanks, family members, equipment, pets, etc. I can't recall exactly but I think there is some limitation to when and how many times you can weigh, but not sure. Been awhile since I used a CAT scale.

I ran my rig over the scale today. Was able to put truck on one scale and camper on the scale. Truck 4880 lb. camper 2860 lb. then had truck with no camper 4560 lb. that would make my hitch weight 320 lb and the camper standing alone 3180 lb. loaded and read for camping with 3 gal water in tank plus water in water heater. It's just me and I travel light
