Thanks for all the feedback. I did check the wiring to the light and it all looks secure. I need to check the voltage when I get home. (Camping now and don't have a meter on me). Can the light itself be bad even though the running lights are working?

Led's are different in that they have a small circuit board and there may be an issue with the board, connections, or the wiring to the fixture. These lights are not like the old school lights that had a bulb with 2 elements, 1 for running lights and 1 for turn/stop.
I believe When the running lights are on the tail ight is full on, and when the blinkers or stops are applied it doubles in brightness. (now i have to go check it). 1st test for me would be to check the voltage at the light with the blinks on. |
