Folks, I've just completed adding a second LP tank.  Like others, I'm having "fun" figuring out how to secure (fasten) the plastic LP tank cover.  The two tabs at the bottom will take a short bungee cord, albeit with some mods.  I could fasten metal grommets into the side of the cover halves to provide fastening points that won't tear over time.  I guess I could wrap a longer bungee cord around and over the whole things.  So, my questions are:
-- how do you keep your plastic dual tank cover fastened?
-- how much does your fastening method result in the cover blowing around as you gad merrily down the road?

thanks for your help!
Best regards, Jim

I use a short bungie from tab to tab. 10,000+ miles, no trouble.

For 6 years I have used a piece of #14 electrical wire.  Tied that to the front tab and the other to the second link of one of the safety chains.  25,000+ miles, no issues. The bungie would probably be easier in that it wouldn't take 20 seconds every time I hook or unhook it to get one of the tanks out.

Thanks to you both.  Obviously, I am overthinking this.  Just tie it on!
