Good Morning to All! I have a quick question regarding the USB chargers in the Pod. We have yet to take Hodge Pod out on its maiden trip but we did do a little driveway camping to check out all of the systems. I'm happy to report that everything worked as advertised with the exception of the USB chargers. There seems to be no power going to them. Am I missing something here or is it a wiring issue? I don't know whether I'm supposed to "turn something on" to get them to work or what! Thanks!!

Do you perhaps need shore power to make them work? IOW, maybe they don't come on with "just" DC power?

I actually figured out the issue and was able to fix it. It would seem the Pod escaped the factory with the negative wire hooked to nothing. I was able to drop another ground wire behind the wall and down to the inverter. Then it was simply a matter of connecting it to one of the grounding points. Works fabulously now!

This is the second post this week mentioning an inverter from FR.  When did this start?  I find no mention of it on the web site.

I DID put inverter didn't I! I don't think it's an inverter. It's just the fuse panel. Sorry for the miscue!!Smile

Thanks.  There have been some who have installed inverters but I don't think FR sends them out from the factory with them.

The USB charger in my 2017 RP180 burned out on our first weeked trip.
Eventhough it should've been covered under the warranty, I chose to order a replacement with a built-in voltage meter rather than hookup and tow to the dealership.
Do I call it a repair or an upgrade?
