just got back from our 1st trip this yr. having trouble  with the water heater not lighting  try to but after 
3 try's va va voom  and will not light  scares the crap  out of you. you can hear it ark  but will not light. also toggle switch on elect. unit stuck on can you replace the switch or just the whole unit.

yes you can replace the switch. it may take a couple tries/resets to get the WH running on propane if it's been a while.

Ditto! Also might want to check for bee's nests/spider nests or mice nests tucked away in the system.

it may light after 1 or 2 resets it's the va va boom that worries me. also where can I get the switch?

not sure what the vavaboom is, but, like, a couple billion people heat water with propane or natural gas around the world.. you are MUCH more likely to get electrocuted then vavaboomed.

The switch is on amazon, etc, just a basic rocker switch.

va va boom is the gas that is built up trying to light.  do you need to pull the heater to get to the switch?

On our first two week trip, the water heater DSI light came on and would not go off.  We stayed at camps with full hookups so just ran the heater off of electric.  No problems but cannot figure out why no spark on propane as refrig ran on propane and so does stove.  Left RPOD at dealer to repair
