I'm looking to replace the bulbs on my 177 to LED.  The pod is in storage now but I want to get the ordered so I can change them out in the spring .  Any one know the size of the bulbs an a good place to order them.

Thanks

It is a good mod to make.  We have several threads on this, try the search at the top of the page and type in "LED".

I got these from Amazon.  They're about $4.50 for two.  I've been very happy with them.

is it as simple as just replacing the bulbs?
The man at the parts store told me I would have to install a ballast of some sort in line at the inverter.Confused

Not so. I have converted all interior bulbs to LED. You pull old one out and insert new one... nothing more.

Svskier,
Did you ever find replacement LED bulbs?  Can you make any recommendations?  It looks like Camping World has them for about $8 bucks but I hate to pay that much.  It looks like the bulb that was recommended to you was a panel light which is a very different shape from our stock 921.  Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob

As earlier stated take out bulb and replace with the led. Make sure lights have been off for a while as incandescent bulbs get really hot. the led bulbs are just warm to the touch after running for an hour. I kept my old ones for back up. I also found that the incandescent bulbs gave a better working light over the stove and the center of the pod over the refrig. We like the leds fine in the bathroom and over the dinette and over the bunks.
