We recently purchased a Coleman Camp Propane Grill Stove at Walmart. (The link is to Amazon, because it had a good picture. It also would have cost less to order it from there, but that is a different issue). I'm impressed with its performance, both for the burner and for the grill sides. It is also a lot easier to pack than the Stok propane grill I had previously used (purchased from Home Depot). For the two of us, this grill/stove combination is the perfect size. Now I just need to get the griddle insert for it.

We like the Safari Chef propane grill. It's small enough to fit in the storage cubby on the pod and versatile.

The Safari Chef is very much like the Stok Tourist grill I donated when I got the Coleman grill/stove. The handles for the lid are different, making it shorter when packaged for travel. The Stok grill had the handle on top, making it too tall to fit. The Coleman folds flat. The only thing it lacks is a lid that can be used while grilling, but that has not been an issue so far.

I purchased a cheapy grill from Sam's Club 3 years ago for 15.99 and it still works well for us today. Legs fold under so it easily stows in the back of our 177 next to our r-dome. A great charcoal grill for small dollar purchase. As far as using charcoal lighter (aka mineral spirits - yes - it is the same thing, same ingredient) fluid and waiting for 30 minutes, where have you been? Purchase a "chimney" for lighting your charcoal. Real simple, crumple up 2 pages of your favorite liberal newspaper and put in the bottom of the "chimney", add your charcoal, light a match and wait for 15 - 20 minutes. Dump white hot coals into your grill and you are good to go. No charcoal fluid needed, and less wait time. The "chimney" sells at your ACE Hardware or other hardware stores for anywhere from 16.99 to 18.99, at least those are the prices around here in northern Michigan.

I just purchased a Weber chimney and it works great! Cuts the time required and gets all the charcoal burning more evenly.
IMO using charcoal makes for better flavor when grilling. A little more mess to clean up but . . .
