The Trailer Life towing guide for 2013 says your Outback has a GVWR of only 3000 pounds.  Your 176 (if it's a 2017 model) requires a GVWR of 3786 pounds.  Your Forester has insufficient capacity.  Strongly recommend you reconsider your plans to tow that trailer with that vehicle.

We first towed our 177 with a '08 Explorer 4.0L V-6 back in 2011.  Last year we upgraded to a '13 Explorer 3.5L V-6.  We use an anti-sway bar only, no towing issues, mileage is like most others - around 12 mpg.

Does anyone tow with a Nissan Pathfinder? I'm considering buying a 2014 Pathfinder SL.  Looking for other rPod owners' opinions on the pros and cons of this as a tow vehicle. Thanks.

Pro:  the Trailer Life 2014 towing guide rates the Pathfinder 3.5L V-6 at a GVWR of 5,000 pounds.  This should be enough to tow an R-pod.

Wow!  fast work!  Recent model year towing guides provide a GVWR for the Frontier (with 4.0L V-6 engine) of 6100 and 6300 pounds for 4WD and 2WD respectively.  Very nice upgrade for towing!

I pull my 2012 182G with a 2014 Ford Explorer. Handles great. My only complaint is the already poor 18mpg goes to 10mpg with the rpod.
Thank you!
