Looks like it may be a pain to move the wires to a corner, but possible, then you would gain that back as storage space.

In the one pic you can see where they screwed 2 screws in the same mounting hole in the bottom left corner Censored

hmmmm- the cabinet to the left isn't revealing anything, nor are there open shelves to the right facing the dinette. There's nothing on the outside of the Pod either. Sooooo- out comes the chainsaw!!!!! fine- a small exploratory hole...

Interesting, on the older 171's that area is wider and completely open, from the bottom edge to the top.  It has elastic mesh on the front.  But, the entertainment unit was mounted underneath the cabinet and not in it.
