Hit the Post Reply button at the lower-left of the last post, then look for the little button with the tree and the green arrow on it.

This gave me a minimum of 22 percent increase in documented gas mileage!
Using my 3.3 Litre (6 cylinder) '05 Toyota Highlander with 2 tranny coolers and 1 crankcase oil cooler  I originally documented getting 9.5-10.5 mpg pulling unloaded and dry trailer on flat land with no head winds at 55 mph.  Now with water tank 2/3 full stocked with all gear, including a generator, tools, I get 12.5 mpg -sometimes better, in same speed and conditions!!LOL

I would really like to see pictures. Also, where did you find the fiber-plastic? Anything that would help with mileage would be good as we just got our 179. We are towing with an Escape with factory tow package and 2.0L Ecoboost engine. While it tows well, and seems to have no trouble maintaining speeds, it definitely is a heavy hit on the gas mileage.

Beware,  I ended up mounting 3 additional mid size tranny coolers and 1 crankcase oil cooler.  Do NOT tow without synthetic oil in both tranny and crankcase!!  You will be happy that you invested wisely!  Have fun-see the post I just replied with, about the other mod.Smile

I do it by using a free 3rd party hosting site and then just linking to that.

Let's see if images will load:uploads/4717/podundermod7.JPGuploads/4717/podundermod6.JPGuploads/4717/podundermod5.JPGuploads/4717/podundermod4.JPGuploads/4717/podundermod3.JPGuploads/4717/IMG_0650_500x375_500x375.jpguploads/4717/IMG_0650_500x375.jpg

Remember now, this project was done in a hurry before departure and was to be the first prototype.  The middle section was done using 8 ml visquene.  The other material is the same stuff that is in the r pod screen door- (1) 4x8 sheet.
