We have reserved a week in September at Custer's Gulch Campground near Custer, SD. We have never been there so looking forward to it. Looks like a nice place on web page. They offer UTV rentals on site so we plan to spend a day exploring the Black Hills. We will post our review of our experience after our return.

Don't know about a favorite campground but I have a favorite song " Black Hills Of Dakota" sung by Doris Day if that helps.
