Hi all, Happy 4 th. So we just bought a 2017 179 R Pod. Super duper excited ( we pick up Friday) . Question, Can anyone tell me the height from the ground to the top of wheel well on the Hood River Edition? My husband is having to cut out part of our driveway fence post so we can fit it in. He's cutting just up to where the top of fender is as the body fits not the tires. I know the tire height just not the fender included . Thank you so much

Our 2012 HRE measures 30" from ground to top of the fender.

Mine is a brand new 179 so maybe they've raised them over the years?

Yes. They've gone from 14" wheels to 15" wheels, and the later model HRE editions also raise the clearance.

I'm not sure why the discrepancy.  Ours is a 2012 177 HRE.  Has the 15" wheels and the mud terrain tires from the factory.
