R-179 Pod owners or creative folks.

Has anybody done any storage mods on the bench seat between the two end cushions in the dining area. Looking for an easy remove the cushion and raise the plywood under the seat. Not sure what is under it plus. It is in the slideout so I assume things would need to be light if it can be used for storage. The left cushion has the electrical for the slideour. The right is for small storage.

You can use the left hassock for storage if you unscrew the cover and put small hinges on it and install a plywood floor 3" above the electrical connections.  It will be about the same amount of room as the right hassock.    There is no room under the sofa in the bump out just insulation under there.

The great outdoors is under the plywood under the cushion.

How deep is the bottomless box? Has anyone looked at it to see if it might be possible to close off the bottom and turn it into a storage space? Our R-179 is at a storage facility right now, or I'd go out and look...
