Dealer did a good job showing us everything and mounting WDH and brake box. Not pushy about extended warranty (I believe they are barely legal scams)nor did they try to get us to finance (we payed cash). When he showed us the sewer hose storage it was empty. When questioned I was informed I had to supply a hose. R-pods don't come with a hose? Does anybody know if this is correct?

Our 180 didn't come with a sewer hose,
but our dealer provided a 'complimentary' preassembled 'kit'
in a 5 gallon bucket that included a such items a short water hose,
roll of tp, and very basic sewage hose.
Which you'll end up upgrading anyway.

Some dealers provide a starter kit, some don't. Purely up to the dealer. Usually has some TP, electrical adapters, basic sewer hose, fresh water hose, maybe some tank chemicals...

The hose that came in our "starter kit" was pretty "light duty". Much happier with our Rhino Hose we bought ourselves.

+1

Ours came in a 5 Gal. plastic pail and was under the dinette seat.  We used the supplied hose for the first year then got one more suited to our needs.

We had an allowance, in part from not taking the dealer's battery since we supplied our own dual 6V batteries. We purchased our own hose along with other accessories we thought we would need or find useful. It turns out that the hose I purchased was too long for the carrier. It got stored and I got a shorter one that I used until I recently replaced the really short carrier with my custom built carrier (see my mods).

The one we got with the starter kit is very short and I only use where the campground only has a dump station.
Otherwise I use a better one that we purchased separately from Walmart

Normally I would purchase from Amazon or E-trailer but we were in a hurry to go camping after we got the pod so we went to Wal-Mart since it was less than a mile from the house.

Yep, Walmart.  As I look out my rear window at one.  They sure are convenient.

Thanks everybody! Good point about probably replacing the free one in short order. I'll be shopping around for a hose. I got a few months until I'll need one.
