Hello all. Glad to join what seems to be a nice bunch of folks. Got our new 2017 R-Pod 178 a couple weeks ago. Been reading lots and find it a bit overwhelming. This is supposed to be relaxing, isn't it? Hope to learn as we go and enjoy lots of fun times in our new Pod.

Welcome:
We have a 178 and I was as nervous as you are. We have one year in and it is a lot of fun and if you need anything this is the place to get it.
Relax and have fun.

Welcome Heyjohn56.  Congratulations on the RP178.  I'm sure you'll enjoy that.  This is a great site, lots of details on modifications and very informative.  If you find yourself getting overwhelmed, go pop open your favorite brew and relax.  The information will still be there tomorrow.

Welcome and Congratulations!
It may seem overwhelming, but relax and enjoy your R-Pod. We bought ours in December, 2015. A week later, we took off across country to visit our daughters and grandchildren. There was a lot we did not know, but somehow, we made it. I hope you have many fine adventures and make many great memories in the process.

Welcome from Chicago. Got our 171 a year ago (next week). Read everything here many times. Put almost 15,000 miles on it since then. Great info here. Still made mistakes -- no big deals.

Just go with the flow and look at it as an exciting learning experience. Make a few short trips your first couple outings to help reduce stress and learn the in's and out's and I promise you soon you will be a pro!

Congratulations HeyJohn56.  Going on year 8 with our 177.  We knew nothing about travel trailers, had either tents or pop ups until this.  We were green, but this site is been phenomenal.  You have questions? There are many who have gone before us who have the answers.  A wealth of information can be had.  Enjoy your 178 as you make a lot of great memories with your family and friends.
