Unbelievably, my cholesterol is about 185, with the good stuff in the lead..

my waistline.. not so happy about that.. but so far my DR. has not recommended anything.. but we do heat with wood, and do much splitting and stacking etc, by hand.. plus walk the dog a few miles a day. and we do a lot of oatmeal and cream of wheat breakfasts too..

HEY.. you don't EVEN want me to start throwing up some of my Dutch Oven madness.. Like Cap'n Crunch French Toast casserole, with blueberry and strawberry compote.. I did that in a 14" CDO, took it to a rally dinner, was gone in seconds.. LOL

We carry a Lodge dutch oven in our Pod to make wonderful Colombian beans.  I'd love to find more things to cook in it.  All I have now is the recipe book that came with it.  The Lodge products are really nice and they've made them in TN since 1896. 

So fire away with your Dutch oven madness!!!
