Finally got my auto former installed in my surveyor. The autoformer isn't really meant to be installed behind a wall, you can't see the lights on the unit. I didn't want it just sticking out like a sore thumb, so  The only way I could install was to add a power watchdog into the circuit, after the autoformer, and then I can connect up to the watchdogs bluetooth to monitor the autoformer.  Kind of a pain in the butt, and sucks to have to buy 2 units, but I really wanted the ability to step up the power.

I would agree with that, however Escape does not have a dealership network. You buy direct from the factory like Scamp and Casita. Plus, they are very clear that if you have any issues whatsoever, to contact a specific team for support.

every brand has issues.. it's just a fact. Hopefully you have a good dealer, because that's where any problems and issues can get "magnified" so to speak.

We had our first warranty issue on our Escape. Our model came without a sink in the wet bath. The person who installed the shower valve set cross threaded the diverter, then, tried to remedy it by goobering liquid Teflon on the joint. Needless to say, it leaked profusely when my wife took the inaugural shower. A couple of photos and emails to Escape and they reimbursed me for a new valve set which I installed plus they threw in an Oxygenics shower head.

Time is money and I am sure the folks building these have schedules they have to keep.

Loved my RP 178 for 10 years. Just moved up to a North Trail 22 rbss by Heartland
12 foot awning, enclosed underbelly, power stabilizers, ducted heat and air,two 20 lb propane tanks, electric tongue jack walk on roof and my 1500 Silverado doesn’t mind.
Still love this forum and will keep lurking if you all don’t mind

I am sticking around also. Cherokee (another FR brand) Grey Wolf does not have a forum outside of Facebook. I prefer this forum, so here I am.

David,

IF I move away from a POD I have no intention of leaving this forum. Best there is for TT owners by far and chuck full of expertise and interesting characters. I have every intention of staying with FR, I think those who have interest in the other TTs like NOBO remember their home boys.

I agree. I hope a little bit bigger tent is a good thing.

A number of Podders have indeed moved on to something different. I see that as not a "bad" thing. The world turns and things change:

Car - I don't still own/drive the first one ever bought
House - I don't still live in/own the first one
Wife - ......... Maybe we shouldn't go there!

The folks here now are great people and would still be so, if they purchased another camper. Those who have yet to purchase have been (no doubt) influenced by all of you!

So, yes, I think there is room for more than just active/current Pod owners. I also think that most of you agree.

Personally, I find the No-Bo very interesting. One thing I did note, in looking at the online info, is that it seems to have LT (light truck) tires. I noticed this in one of the pictures.

I think FR has a winner in this one.
I agree. I hope a little bit bigger tent is a good thing.

I'm not sure that LT tires are necessarily a good thing. The main thing about ST tires is the stiffer sidewalls, which is also a good argument against a radial tire. This is a good discussion of the distinction between vhicle tires and trailer tires.

I like the NoBos, but I'm not convinced they are the thing for me. I like layout of the 19.5 EXCEPT for the placement of the refer. and the huge amount of space devoted to the bathroom. I keep looking at the NB16.7, but it just looks like an RP179 with a different exterior.
