Has anyone converted their microwave/convection oven to a propane oven or the stove top and remove the drawers? We pretty much always boon-dock and looking for a usable oven.

There isn't anyway that I am aware of to convert the microwave to propane.. Depending on model, the cooktop can be removed, along with the drawers under it, and a RV gas range installed, it's been done by a few.. I would suggest that, for resale value,  ease, and cost, you consider an outdoor propane oven such as the Camp Chef..

We got a Coleman stovetop camp oven.  It fits right over a burner.  But the overwhelming urge to eat biscuits hasn't hit us yet, so we haven't tried it.  unless it's really cold, I think we'd be most likely to use it on top of a Coleman stove outdoors.  I'd hate to think how much heat it would give off.

I agree that cutting a big hole in the tiny galley area to put a stove with an oven can be done, but you may affect the resale value.  Also, make sure there is enough room to open the oven door safely.

We use a portable Coleman oven that is powered by a  one pound propane cylinder or small tank. It is not meant to be used indoors. We use it outside on an aluminum folding table. It is about the same size as the microwave or a table top toaster oven. It has a thermometer built in and the temperature can be controlled. I understand that they are no longer made, but occasionally available used. My wife found it on evay for about $75.
I would recommend one if you can find one. It makes great muffins and corn bread among other  things.

Coleman makes a portable stove/oven, little over 300, about same size as a micro, propane fueled.

I just looked on ebay and there is one advertised for $75 that is exactly like ours. It is called the Coleman Instastart portable camping oven. I can’t give a website ,but it was the first listing on ebay when I searched for  coleman propane oven

I've used the folding Coleman oven for years.  I make biscuits and sausage gravy when camping.  I use the folding oven in conjunction with a Coleman single burner unit.  Works well inside.

geewizard, how is that oven in regard to heating up the interior of the Pod?  We have one, but I've never used it.  .... plan to soon, though.  Biscuits and gravy sounds real good, especially on a cold western mountain morning.
