Thanks. The plan is to put it off until fall if I can. So far so good. I just have to remember to think before I act. The doctor even told me to lay off the Wii Sports Resort games until after this is over.

We are taking the Rpod to Manassas, VA Memorial Weekend, then to York, PA Father's Day weekend.  Then we have a week in Florida in August, not camping.  After that it all depends on what Flyball Tournaments come up.

Codorus State park is not too far from home about 1 1/2 hours away.  I will have to talk to the wife to see what is happening in October.  May just work out.

rpodcamper - the state park I mentioned in my post is Codorus State park, just south of Hanover, PA.  You are welcome to join us in October.

I have driven from Pa to AZ 5 times now and used I 70, I 40, and combos of state roads. You could go west on 70 and visit the RV manufacturers in Indiana, some do tours and have rv parks. Missouri is real picturesque down south, the caverns depending how far you want to drive. Western Virginia and Tenn were real pretty in the mountains but now I don't know with the flooding.

Well our plans have already included several week-ends up at a Girl Scout Camp my wife and I volunteer at.  We have several other week-ends planed at the Girl Scout Camp.  We are also looking at camping during the week versus the weekends at some of the local State Parks as they will not be as crowded.  In august we are looking to do a bigger trip of about 9 days but not sure where yet.

Any ideas?  From PA to Maine? From PA to Chicago (Brother-in-Law lives out there)? PA to ????

Looking for some ideas

We have to get the pod out of moth balls first. Going to freeze here tonight, had 2-4 inches of snow north of here last nite.
We are going to go out to s.dak to see some kinfolk. we will take it to AZ. this winter starting in Oct. by way of TX. We will use a lot of state parks here and national forests here in Mn. We are retired and i have beat cancer so far. We will go out for about 3-4 days to use old duffer rates during the week.
