In which manner do I add antifreeze? Fresh water tank, or through city connection?

Neither. If you are winterizing with anti-freeze you should bypass water heater and use the siphon hose connected in water pump line to add antifreeze to the plumbing. There is a valve and hose off your pump with nothing connected to it. Several really good videos on You Tube , two by Kymooses a member here that cover both compressed air and anti-freeze winterization. Bunch of info out there, on the Interweb.

If you decide to use the RV antifreeze method, I have a video on the subject of me showing how to do it on a 179. Just click my videos link below and look in the maintenance playlist. ~PP

We have used compressed air to blow out our lines every year since 2012.  The first year, 2011,  I didn't know any better and used rv antifreeze and  took several attempts to get that nasty taste out of the water line.  Anyway with compressed air I use a total of 16 oz. rv antifreezw to fill the 2 sink  traps, 1 shower trap and toilet.  That way 1 gallon will last me 8 years.  When I purchased that rv antifreeze in 2012 the cost was 0.99 cents.
