Hi Folks;

My 2017 R Pod 178 has united shades on all the windows except the rear window. I am exploring putting a pleated shade on the rear window. Anyone have experience with that?  Does anyone know if United Shades makes a R Pod rear window shade?  Thanks

I blocked my rear window with window insulation from Lowe's. The double sided reflective type. I left the curtains. It is warmer in winter and cooler in summer. I never spent anytime sitting on bed and looking out the rear window in my 178.

I installed a blind on the rear window of our 177 about a year after purchase, so that would have been in 2012.  My DW is quite a seamstress so she took the existing curtain and made it about 4" long, enough to cover the top of the 2x cell window blind.  Purchased it from Blinds.com and really enjoy being able to instantly raise or lower the blind.  Since the rear of the pod slopes inward you need to purchase a couple plastic hold downs to keep the blind against the rear wall.  They can be purchased at Menards, Home Depot, Lowes, ect or probably your local hardware store.  A couple of small screws will hold it in place.

Thanks Jato, Did you use inside or outside window measurements to order the blinds?  Everything I have read so far suggests outside.

Outside window measurement.  I guess I don't need to post a pic as marwayne beat me to it.  Nice job marwayne!  The measurement on our blind was 52" wide by 19" tall, which includes the header.
