This comes up every few months. I also have read same pros and cons. I have a friction sway and use it in the rain, I don't tow the trailer in snow and ice. No issues with my use. Personally I think knowledge is not part of every discussion.

i don't know and im assuming (hmmmmm) that you mean the anti sway bars?  Would be interesting to hear from someone in the know on this.  I can't see any reason not to use them ever.

I heard from a friend recently that you should not use your sway bar in the rain.  After looking on a few web sites it seems to have confirmed that you should not use it in the rain, gravel roads or snow.

This is the first I heard of this, so I'm wondering if it supposedly common knowledge?  Also, does anyone have any experience regarding this?

Thanks
