we can never improve on what God has created

As a Jesus follower I answer to a higher authority and know that I am a steward of His creation,

“Our love for God is shown in how we serve the widow, orphan, and infirm.” Beecher

It is my belief that these comments are of a religious nature.....

If a person chooses to willfully defy, admins/moderators are left with no choice.

Oh my. We have a problem.

I am afraid that you don't understand the first thing about individual 'style' in writing.

I hereby request of the people who run this forum that this moderator, who has absolutely no conception of the arbitrariness of his manner of thinking, be terminated for the good of this forum.

Just as a note, English isn't my first language. But I for sure understand style and prose. I also FULLY understand that this is an RPOD forum. For the most part what goes on here is about camping in, using, owning, researching, etc etc RPODS. For the good of the forum we don't go down the rabbit holes of religion, politics, etc.

IF, Mr. Happy, this offends you, what you do is go start a forum, and moderate it just as you wish. We have at least one member who did that very thing with a facebook group. Good luck, and have fun.

Writing style?  If you are referring to David's post immediately above yours, those examples are clearly religious in nature and are what have triggered angry "shouting" matches on this board.  There is no issue about the "style" of the prose.  It's the subject matter that is he is correctly addressing.  And that subject matter is what leads to conflict in which we risk losing a very valuable resource for all rPod owners and wannabe owners.

We have people from all walks of life and all political and religious persuasions; from atheist to creationists, from left of socialist to right of alt-right.  Moderating this board is like "tratando de organizar micos para una foto" as we say in Colombia.  [organizing monkeys for a photograph].  Our moderator's work is nothing short of miraculous and they deserve our support.

We can nitpick the moderation and find fault here or there, but we have to stop and ask ourselves whether we could do any better.  I really doubt we could.  They have kept this board informative, enjoyable to read, and relatively free of conflict.  For an internet board, where the subtleties and irony are often lost, where people tend to not realize how blunt or offensive they are in their writing style, Dave, furpod and Trek Tech have exceeded all reasonable expectations of what good moderation is.  Let's give them a round of applause and our deepest gratitude for keeping this crazy group together.
Lostagain, if you ever run for governor of Nevada (and I move to Nevada), you would have my vote.

Motion passed/granted!

Well.....at least until somebody decides to post additional to it. I could lock the topic but, then a smart person might open a "new" topic - with the same or similar title. (This happened during our last discussion of the "religious problem")

I feel the need to apologize. I know that many are getting about as tired of dealing with this issue as I. I think we may have it to a point (this time) that we can take some decisive measures to eliminate the problem. (there will be ongoing maintenance from time to time, as needed)

I will be nice to return to our "regularly scheduled program" of Pods, camping and fun stuff.

I'm ignoring you. Also, as one of the forum administrators (people who run the forum), I refuse to terminate myself, per your request.
