We stayed here recently while looking at Yorktown and Jamestown. It's an older park with lots of mature trees, bath house is 'dated' in some eyes but it was clean and warm and I thought it was fine, it even had soap in the dispensers! The nearby impoundment is pretty. There is significant road noise from a interstate, the first two loops might not be too good if you like to stay up late by a fire, which we don't. 'In season' the loops further away are open and might be ok, especially after the leaves come out. One thing, a fair number of campsites are pretty tilted, not a problem if you have a decent number of leveling blocks. We had only 4 or 5 other campers but this is not really their peak season.
