I have found over the years that single axle trailers are super sensitive to how they are loaded.  On my pod, I am always mindful of the total weight of the unit and how it is distributed.  I always carry the preponderance of the weight forward of the axle and use a WDH as well as an anti sway.

I meant to say a WDH AND an anti sway bar.

Flood #3 last night and this morning{sigh}. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions, will be getting the tongue weight when the water recedes and I can get out(approach to our bridge goes under about 2.5'.
